LEDBURY RFC are preparing to face a Moseley Oak team in strong form.
Having not played last weekend (November 2), Ledbury are coming off the back of a thrilling comeback win over Ludlow in the Regional 2 Midlands West .
It was a back-and-forth game, which saw both sides take the lead and fall behind. Ledbury went into the half time break up by ten points, before falling behind 27-17, only eventually taking the win due to a late flurry of attacking play - ending in a 40-metre penalty to clinch the game 30-27.
Their next fixture against Moseley Oak will see their resolve tested even further. Moseley currently sit second in the table, having won five of their opening seven games.
The side also boast significant attacking strength, scoring a total of 235 points across all their league games thus far, compared to Ledbury's 133. They have also averaged 33 points per game across the season, in comparison to Ledbury's 19.
Moseley most recently triumphed in a tight game against Hereford, after enjoying a dominant performance against Edwardians, winning 41-19.
Ledbury will be hoping for a strong performance against the Birmingham-based side, looking to move up from their current league position of ninth.
The fixture will take place this Saturday (November 9), away in Moseley.
