IT looks set to be a mouth-watering clash between the two runaway title contenders in the Counties 1 Midlands West (South) on Saturday as Ledbury welcome top-of-the-table Luctonians 2s to Ross Road.
The two sides have dominated the league so far this season, with Lucs boasting a 100% record across their 10 games in the 23/24 campaign. They have won every game with a try bonus-point, giving them a maximum 50 points.
Ledbury had the exact same record after nine games, but lost their perfect record at Manor Park in their last outing in a frustrating 16-12 defeat which saw them drop four points off this weekend's opponents.
Ledbury have had plenty of time to lick their wounds following that trip to Manor Park after having a week off last Saturday but will be determined to put things right this weekend in what looks set to be a thrilling contest between two quality outfits.
Going into it, there really is very little to split the two teams going off what we have seen so far this season.
Both sides will be hoping that the game does go ahead, given there are reports of freezing temperatures across the UK this weekend and even snow in some parts.
