THE new grassroots rugby season returns this weekend and the league opener for Ledbury sees them head to Droitwich.
Ledbury head to Worcestershire full of confidence after beating the likes of Ludlow and Malvern in pre-season as well as a draw with Monmouth and a narrow defeat to Bridgend.
Four games leaves them fit and ready for the start of the new campaign, where they will be one of the most fancied sides for a title tilt.
They came fourth in 22/23 after being promoted the season before and more than mixed it with the best in the division.
And now, with one season under their belt and a run of high-quality friendlies, they will be thinking of going one better and pushing for the title in the Counties 1 Midlands West (South).
But Droitwich will provide stern opposition after being relegated from the level above last year, in which they did not win a single game.
