LEDBURY RFC continued their preparations for the 2023/24 season with a narrow 19-24 home defeat to Bridgend. 

testing themselves out against a side two levels higher than themselves, Ledbury were more than a match for their opponents.

A Ledbury RFC spokesperson said: "A much more exacting run out that certainly pushed us in a very positive way and we were pleased to keep them well in reach as they are in effect two leagues above us.

"A 19-24 loss to us was by no means a disappointment…..if we are to aim for promotion this coming season we really need to test ourselves!"

Ledbury are in action this evening against local rivals Malvern RFC, who are taking two sides to Ross Road for the pre-season affair.
