HEREFORD FC have signed budding Stoke City star Sonny Singh on a five-month loan spell.
The 19-year-old central midfielder started life at Leicester City’s Academy before moving to Sunderland and then to Stoke last year.
Singh is described by Hereford as bringing a ‘physical presence’ to their midfield as well as having the ability to drive the team forwards.
Hereford manager Paul Caddis told the club’s website: “We are delighted to bring Sonny into our group on an extended loan at a time when we are short on bodies and in an area we were looking to recruit.
“Sonny is a very good technical midfielder who can play as a more advanced midfielder or as a deeper lying midfielder. He is a fit lad who will get around the pitch and look to switch play.
“We would like to thank everyone at Stoke City for choosing Hereford FC to help develop Sonny’s football career moving forwards.”
