STRUGGLING Eastnor suffered their fifth Birmingham and District Premier Cricket League Division Two defeat in the first six games.
The third-from-bottom Herefordshire side lost by 88 runs at home to third-placed Sutton Coldfield after being bowled out for 136.
Sajid Ali claimed 3-55, Raheel Lone 2-39 and Jack Myers 2-59 in Sutton Coldfield’s 224-9 from 55 overs.
But Eastnor could make little impact in reply after a 57-run second-wicket partnership between Mahaaz Ahmed (26) and Faisal Khalid (30).
Myers added 14, skipper Clive Chadhani 26 not out and Sajid 15 as they were dismissed inside 37 overs.
However, the third-placed second XI won at Sutton Coldfield in Division Two South by five wickets.
Shameer Ahmed starred with the ball, taking 3-16 off 9.5 overs, as the hosts were bowled out for 138.
He then scored 24no to lead Eastnor home with the bat on 140-5 in 36 overs.
Mohammed Munir added 35 and Tom Hurrell 34.
