I read on a regular basis folks bemoaning one party or another at Herefordshire Council.
As a former councillor, I stood with a party but it was doing my best for the people of Herefordshire that mattered.
There is very little connection between local and national politics.

If all the squabbling energy could be put into working together it would be much more productive.
The public should know that no councillor goes into the job wanting to get things wrong (although at times I must agree I am baffled by some of the decisions), but by working together and using the knowledge of what the people really consider hold dear so much more could be accomplished without the negativity and backbiting, which frankly is boring and childish.
