LEDBURY FC have announced Ian Merrick as their new manager, following the decision for Matt Tunley to step down.
Yesterday (November 4), the club announced the decision to part ways with manager Matt Tunley, along with assistant manager Kirk Imm. In an official statement, the club said: "We would like to thank Matt for all his efforts since joining the club in the summer. Matt is a fantastic person and an excellent coach, and we're sorry to see him depart.
"Matt leaves Ledbury with our very best wishes and will always be welcome at New Street.
"The club will announce a new First Team Manager in due course."
The announcement for the new manager soon followed as just this morning (November 5), Ledbury put out another statement announcing the return of ex-manager Ian Merrick on a temporary basis.
Merrick will lead the first team until the end of the season.
He was previously in charge of the side from 2021 through to the end of the 2023/24 season, ultimately only taking a brief 5-month absence from the club.
Merrick's first match back at the helm will take place this Saturday (November 9), away against New Dales Vale.
