Over 600 school pupils across Herefordshire have taken part in a county-wide sporting event.
On Tuesday (April 16) 610 pupils attended the Herefordshire Spring School Games Values Festival, backed by 96 young leaders from 41 county schools.
The event, organised by Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire along with Stride Active at Hereford Leisure Centre, involved children taking part in competitive sports and participation activities such as golf, tennis, team building, and multi-skills athletics.
The event was run thanks to National Lottery and Sport England funding.
Chief executive officer at Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Stephen Brewster, said: "Events like our School Games festivals are brilliant opportunities to introduce children and young people across the county to larger sporting events.
"We understand the importance of creating positive experiences for our young people to ensure a lifelong habit of physical activity.
"The games bring opportunities for hundreds of children to try new sports and activities and be part of both competitive and participatory sporting events."
Since 2012, Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire have hosted School Games events across the two counties.
