WITH the recent weather, the abominable snowman would have felt quite at home in this area, so it was quite appropriate that the Yeti was the theme for the children's Christmas workshop at Eastnor Pottery.
Potter Jon Williams led the workshop, when youngsters made and painted models of the yeti and its cave.
"It was great fun and the children really enjoyed themselves," he said. "We'll let them dry out for three weeks now, then give them a couple of firings, and then they will be ready for the children to collect."
The pottery's next workshops will be on February 23 and 24, during half-term, when youngsters will have a chance to try a potter's wheel.
