A 'suspicious' fire has broken out on a main street in Ledbury.
The blaze took hold of an outbuilding on New Street last night (November 12).
It took officers took more than two hours to put the fire out.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two crews – one each from Ledbury and Malvern Fire Stations – supported by two Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newent and Tewkesbury were called at 10.31pm on November 12 to a building fire in New Street, Ledbury.
"A fire in a brick and timber outbuilding, around 10m by 4m, was well alight with the fire fought by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using one hosereel jet supplemented by a hydrant.
"Police were requested to attend due to the suspicious origin of the fire.
"The fire was extinguished but dampening down and turning over continued by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hosereel jet and a thermal imaging camera."
West Mercia Police has been approached for comment.
