A charity quiz night organised by a Ledbury opticians has raised £1,000 for two community causes.
Specsavers, on The Homend, held the event on Wednesday, October 9, at Ledbury Rugby Club.
The funds raised were split between Ledbury Foodbank and Ledbury VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) Club, which supports people living with sight loss.
A raffle also took place, with prizes donated by community businesses.
These included donations from Verzon Hotel and Restaurant, Three Counties Bookshop, Cutting Club Hairdressers, Handley Organics, and Jardinopia.
Rebecca Roberts, store director at Specsavers Ledbury, said: "We were delighted to be able to support two amazing local initiatives by putting on a fantastic night of entertainment.
"It was a really well-attended event, with 10 teams joining in the fun to raise money for the foodbank and the VIPs.
"We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped us to reach such a fantastic fundraising total, and to the local businesses who kindly donated prizes.
"We’re really grateful to be part of such an amazing community in Ledbury."
