YOUNG farmers in Newent gathered together for a session of pumpkin carving for Halloween.
The youthful farmers meet weekly for events filled with fun.
Newent Young Farmers is a group of of 10- 28 year olds.
Usually around 20 young farmers attend the meetings and enjoy activities such as pheasant plucking , skittles and games nights.
It was organised by Newent Young Farmers' Chairwoman Abi Clarke and Secretary Matilda Heron.
The meeting at Dymock Parish Hall was a huge success.
A spokesman for the young farmers said: "It was successful as in we had plenty of members that enjoyed trying pumpkin pie for the first time and carving pumpkins amongst friends!"
Newent Young Farmers recently held a breakfast morning raising over £600 for The Farm Safety Foundation and plan on organising a lot more charity events in the future
