LEDBURY may be hit with flooding after an alert was issued.
The gov.uk website has issued a flood alert for the River Leadon.
This comes after flood levels rose at the Wedderburn Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain for Ledbury, which is expected to last until last until midday today (Wednesday, October 16).
Flooding of roads and farmland remains possible.
It is expected flooding will affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Leadon.
Other locations that may be impacted include Ledbury, Much Marcle, Staunton and Tibberton.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours and river levels are expected to remain high for several days.
A statement on the gov.uk website said: "We are closely monitoring the situation.
"Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens.
"Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses."
An update is expected to be issued by 9am today.
