POLICE have arrested a woman in Hereford city centre after being called to an incident.
The woman, who cannot be identified at this stage, was seen in handcuffs being put into the back of a police van in Commercial Road at around 4pm today (October 5).
The incident is understood to have happened near the Kings Fee pub.
Officers scrambled to the busy city centre street and arrested a woman, with the police van parked outside the London Look barbers.
West Mercia Police has been approached for comment.
Businesses in Commercial Road, including the Kings Fee, remained open during the incident.

Yesterday (October 4), in an unrelated incident, a man was arrested in Hereford after being found to be carrying a bow and arrow. His arrest is also understand to have been in Commercial Road.
Police said that they were called to Herefordshire and Ludlow College in Folly Lane after a report of a man carrying a bow and arrow.
He was soon found in the city centre and arrested.
