THE OWNER of a Worcester removal company said it was a 'dream come true' to have an England footballer as a client- but he urged him not to score against his beloved Arsenal.

Warren Leggett, who owns Warren's Removals and Storage, was contacted by Manchester City star Phil Foden on Instagram asking him to help him move houses.

Six-time Premier League champion Foden had been encouraged to contact Mr Leggett by Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, who already had experience of using his service.

Mr Leggett and his team spent two days with Foden while completing a pack-and-unpack job.

He told the Worcester News Foden was a 'really down to earth guy', adding it was a pleasure to spend time with him.

Mr Leggett added: "He was really proud of his accolades and showed us all of his man of the match trophies and medals, he is getting quite the collection, there were so many and it was a really surreal experience for us.

"We discussed football, I am an Arsenal fan so I asked him not to score against us when Man City play against us in the future.

"We also spoke a bit about the Euros, mostly about how he came back to England for the birth of his son and returned and still didn't miss a single game.

"He is a very keen fisher as well so we discussed that, it was an honour to spend that time with him.

"It has always been one of my dreams to move an England player but I genuinely didn't expect to move one of the best England players."

With his move being a staggered one, Mr Leggett may be helping Foden out more in the coming weeks.

As well as stopping for photographs, Foden also signed a Manchester City shirt and put a note which read 'To Warrens Removals, thank you so much for your help with the move.'

The shirt is set to be framed and will be put on display in his office.

Having fulfilled his goal to help an England player move house, his next dream is to get an Arsenal player to be one of his clients.

Top of his list is flying England winger Bukayo Saka, although fellow Arsenal stars Declan Rice and Ben White are also dream clients.
