LEDBURY Amateur Dramatics Society latest production is sure to have audiences rolling with laughter.
There is funny business at Giggleton vicarage for the LADS team.
The latest play from Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society (LADs) is a fast-paced farce that is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
The action takes place in the quiet country vicarage in the village of Giggleton.
This is home to the Reverend Roger Evans (played by Mark Randles) and his young and naïve Curate (Acqueal Blandford).
They are ably looked after by their long-suffering and slightly bad-tempered housekeeper Yvonne Payne (Deb West).
However, this domestic bliss is soon shattered by a phonecall to say that Bishop Grim (Richard Pett) is on his way with some important news.
With the preparations for the Bishop’s visit in full swing, another unexpected visitor arrives.
She is Lucy Sinclair (Ripley Sheppard) the adult daughter (and page 3 model) that the Vicar never knew existed.
Even more chaos ensues as the girl’s mother Valerie Sinclair (Sue Randles) turns up.
The play is on at the Market Theatre in Market Street Ledbury from Thursday September 19 to Saturday September 21 at 7.30pm. Tickets are available online at themarkettheatre.com or by phone 07967 517125.
