A DRIVER who bought a Range Rover for a 'too good to be true' price was pulled over by the police.

Central Motorway Police Group seized a stolen Range Rover after an unknowing person bought it thinking the were getting a bargain.

It has led them to warn residents to do their homework before buying a car.

A spokesperson for Central Motorway Police Group said, "If the deal is ‘too good to be true,’ then maybe it’s actually a stolen Range Rover that you’ve just bought.

"There is so much advice online about buying a private-sale used vehicle.

"Do your homework before buying, or you may end up out of pocket like these folk."
