OFFICIALS at football club have been dismayed by vandalism at their ground.
Ledbury Town Football Club says its temporary pitch barrier has been destroyed, rubbish strewn across around the ground, and a dead pigeon dumped in the stand.
In a social media post the New Street-based club said: "We do so much to cater for and engage young people, so this is vandalism is hugely disappointing.

“We’ve now had several incidents in recent months, which we have previously chosen not to publicise, but the costs have now reached more than £1,000 to fix damage or replace equipment, which is no longer sustainable.
“We are a volunteer-run club on a tight budget and this behaviour is out of order.”
The club has contacted the police.
