LITTLE Verzons Farm is holding its Nest Fest tomorrow (Saturday).
The farm is just outside Ledbury on Hereford Road and has quite the reputation for producing Scotch eggs among other things.
Verzons was started by Penny and Neil Chambers
Back in the noughties, both Penny and Neil ran a thriving ‘one man’ business from home.
Penny, catering to large and small groups from weddings, balls and parties to private dinners, supplying home made goodies to local delis and all the while nurturing the world renowned City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the CBSO. three days a week during their rehearsals.
Neil, designed and painted murals and faux finishes from private commissions to architectural features in hotels, restaurants, schools and public buildings, while running work shops and classes so always on hand for the heavy stuff and front of house duties when required at Penny’s events
Neil said: “We found that we work extremely well together, with very different strengths, natural skills, as well as weaknesses, we give each other the confidence to tackle just about everything that comes our way”.
You can visit Little Verzons on Saturday for Nest Fest.
In addition to local producers and makers; market, and fresh stone-baked pizza the day will be full of live music and performances by the Ledbury Morris Dancers.
