THIS year's Lakefest has been dubbed 'the biggest ever' by organisers with fans highlighting Olly Murs' final performance as 'amazing'.

The four-day festival saw some of the biggest acts in music come to Eastnor Castle Deer Park for a four-day extravaganza.

The main Abbey Stage saw a lot of the big hitters bring the house down.

The fun kicked off on Thursday (August 8) with performances from the Stranglers, The Twang and Laurie Wright.

Music lovers were treated to a performance by the world-famous drum and bass band Rudimental on Friday, as well as superstar DJ Sigala.

Nineties rock icons The Libertines were among the highlights from Saturday's performance.

And on Sunday, 'Dear Darlin' singer and The Voice judge Olly Murs closed the weekend by performing some of his biggest hits.

Other highlights from the final day included The Amy Winehouse Band and a performance from British singer-songwriter Vince Freeman.

The Funkytown stage saw the likes of Johnny Clash, Slamboree, Jaguar Skills and a Bob Marley tribute act thrill fans.

And music lovers danced the day away at the 'A Retrospective of House' stage.

Lakefest was first held in 2012 and has been held at the Eastnor Castle Deer Park in 2016.

Following the festival, Lakefest organisers took to social media to thank those who attended.

The post read: "We think it’s safe to say that was the biggest Lakefest ever.

"What an incredible time, the weather, the line-up, the food, the setting, the vibes and most importantly, the fans.

"We spent 12 months pouring our hearts into making sure that you all had an unforgettable time with us and we hope we did you proud.

"We are soaking it all in, reflecting and admiring what we’ve all just experienced- thank you to everyone for your support."

The post also confirmed Lakefest was planning to be even bigger at next year's event, which will take place between August 6 and 10, 2025.

Phoebe Hayes, who went to the festival, told the Reporter: "It was an amazing weekend, with a great final performance by Olly Murs.

"The crowd was wild and it’s safe to say everyone enjoyed themselves."
