A Summer Holiday Drama Workshop Week is taking place at the Market Theatre in Ledbury on Monday - Friday August 12 - 16 from 9:30am to 3pm

The Quite Frankly Theatre Drama Workshop is back this summer for a Play in a Week.

Led by professional actors Melissa Johns and Jason Johns (both originally from Ledbury), the week will be for youngsters age 7-16 who love to story tell, create plays and characters, and use their imagination!

The week will use drama school warm-up games, improvisation and devising as well as character work and script writing.

A real chance to find where their passion lies, and if it’s not in the spotlight of acting on stage, maybe it’s a director or writer role.

A week of learning new skills and making new friends! With sharing of the work at 3pm on the final day.

Born in Hereford and raised in Ledbury, actress Melissa Johns made her West End début in the Donmar Warehouse’s production of Henry V alongside Kit Harrington, which was screened across over 600 venues across the country as part of NT Live.

Jason is an actor, also born in Hereford and raised in Ledbury, and is Melissa’s younger brother.

Jason has had roles in many plays, including Antigone and Under Milk Wood at Malvern Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
