DOZENS of children with their parents or carers came together for a day of family fun in Ledbury.

The day was organised by LEAF - Locally Encouraging All to Flourish.

The event on Saturday had to be moved to St Michael and All Angels Parish Church because of the wet weather forecast but it was a lovely family fun event.

Over 60 children, plus parents and carers, attended.

They enjoyed lots of outdoor games, including water play, Jenga, Connect 4 etc. a number loaned by Ledbury Town Council.

There was Nature Craft under the trees, with a fun hammock, run by Becky Davis, Forest School Lead. Inside there were, crafts including Rain Chimes, Frisbee decorating, printing and a children’s play corner.

The Methodist Church Puppet Team entertained children with stories and songs.

Families enjoyed a BBQ, cooked on the new equipment funded by Tesco Groundwork and copious amounts of delicious home-made cakes, tea, coffee etc.

The event was supported by almost 30 volunteers from around the churches in Ledbury.
