FIRE crews were sent to tackle a blaze at a Ledbury recreation ground.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ledbury Fire Station was called at 4.54pm on Sunday, July 14 to a fire in the open at a recreation ground on Bye Street.
The fire was in a hedgerow and undergrowth, around 2m by 1m.
The crew dampened down the area using a hose reel jet and turned over using a dragfork.
There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
At 5.28pm, the incident was marked as pending closure.
