NHS staff have received four prestigious awards at the University of Worcester.
Staff from Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust received the accolades at the Health and Care Mentor Awards 2024.
The annual ceremony recognises mentors who contribute towards supporting students studying at the university and taking part in its workplace-based training programme.

The mentors guide students not only in practical and medical aspects but also foster a secure environment for learning from mistakes and professional improvement.
This year, four Trust staff received titles for their dedication.
The winners include Bromsgrove's Claire Beaumont, staff nurse, as the Outstanding Mentor of Nursing Students/Apprentices (adult), Evesham's Martin Barnes, community psychiatric nurse, bagged the same title for mental health; Bromsgrove's Maxine Palmer, advance nurse practitioner, honoured as Outstanding Mentor of Post Qualifying Practice Students/Apprentices; and Oak House, Hereford recognised as Outstanding Practice Learning Environment.
The student who nominated Ms Beaumont said: "[Claire’s] contributions have not only facilitated my personal and professional growth but have also had a significant, positive impact on the broader healthcare community."
Ms Palmer’s nominator added: "I could not have asked for a better guide or mentor through the toughest time in my life and she certainly deserves recognition for excellence in the mentor role, with careful guidance and her excellent mentorship, she allowed me to believe in myself and achieve my overall goals."
Phill Morgan-Henshaw, deputy director of nursing, said: "I was proud to be present to see the great work of several of the Trust’s excellent mentors recognised.
"The delivery of excellence in mentoring and supervision is critical to instilling the compassion and care that I know all our winners exhibit in the next generation of health care staff.
"On behalf of all the Trust, I would like to extend congratulations to all our winners and once again share how proud I am that their efforts have been recognised and celebrated."
