There will also be free-to-enter jazz performances at Upton venues including The Boathouse and Bar 7 throughout the weekend.

There will also be free-to-enter jazz performances on Friday evening at the Muggery, the Swan Hotel and the White Lion.

There will also be a host of musical performances at Upton Baptist Church on Sunday, June 30, with a service and a full programme with the area's rising stars from Worcestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra and Bromsgrove School.

Jon Parsons from Upton Jazz Festival told the Gazette: “We are looking forward to welcoming hundreds of people into Upton to enjoy the festival, this is the third time we have done it and the past two have been big successes.

“A lot of the people who perform and show up to watch are long-standing jazz lovers.

“We are hoping the weather forecasts improve so we can have a fantastic summer jazz festival for everyone.”

The hugely popular Malvern Jazz Jam will be coming to Upton between 8am and 10.30pm on Friday evening to give aspiring musicians a chance to shine.

At the jam, which has proved a huge success at West Malvern Social Club, people will be able to come along armed with their singing voice or instrument and play a song or two.

Mr Parsons added: "For many years there was a Jam at Upton, and now it’s back.

"We warmly welcome Roy Snook, his team, and the excellent and supportive house band who have made the Jam a success in West Malvern

"All are welcome and you don’t have to be a virtuoso - mistakes happen, the occasional note is fluffed, but it’s always fun."
