Ledbury Tennis Club is holding an open morning on Saturday June 22.
Local residents are invited to come and give tennis a go, including Walking Tennis.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
People of all ages and abilities are welcome to visit the club and enjoy complimentary refreshments while chatting to members.
Visitors will be able to try out the gorgeous artificial grass courts and enjoy whizzing a few balls over the net, providing they wear clean trainers or tennis shoes.
Rackets and balls will be provided to use on the day.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The club enjoys a uniquely scenic location on the edge of town, just up the hill from John Masefield High School, behind the big stone wall on the left towards the roundabout.
“People are amazed to see just how lovely our courts and facilities are when they first visit us” said club member David Murdoch.
“Because we’re a bit tucked away, many people don’t even realise that there’s somewhere in Ledbury where they can enjoy playing tennis.”
There really is something for everyone at Ledbury Tennis Club, which offers great value and sociable opportunities to play right on your doorstep.
So whether you’re a competitive league player, a complete beginner, or a “rusty racket” who would like to return to tennis after a long time away, you’re sure to be made very welcome at Ledbury Tennis Club.
