WESTONS Cider’s new Shire Horse foal, Rhys, is making his first public appearance on Sunday. 

Rhys, who is now six-weeks-old, will be venturing into the paddock at the Herefordshire Cider Mill, next to the children’s play park with his mother, Peggy-Sue, where they can be seen by visitors from 10am.

He is a very friendly and affectionate foal, and is now living out full time with his mum, in the orchard just up the road from The Mill.

Rhys was born on Tuesday, April 9 at 12:30am –Weston Cider’s first Shire Horse foal born in 13 years. Eventually he will be working as part of the Westons Shires team when he grows up.
