Eastnor Castle based near Ledbury, is once again home to the Eastnor ChilliFest scheduled for Sunday, May 5 and Monday, May 6.
The two-day event, first introduced on the Castle's event calendar in 2012, draws in around 5000 visitors daily, marking it as the estate's biggest annual event.
Eastnor ChilliFest celebrates 'all things chilli' with a range of experiences within its vibrant and carnivalesque atmosphere.
Transforming the Castle Courtyard into a Chilli Marketplace, visitors can explore over 50 stalls, selling chilli produced items varying from gin and chutneys to plants and chocolate.
The festival also accommodates stalls for hot food and drinks, plus a variety of beers and wine.
The Lower Terrace hosts daily chef demonstrations from local food advocates, including Beefy Boys from Hereford, and Saku Chandrasekara, a former contestant on the 2023 edition of The Great British Bake Off.
An additional attraction of the day is the Chilli Eating Competition on the Valley Lawn, offering attendees the opportunity to test their taste buds with an array of increasingly hot chilli varieties.
The event also has live music and entertainment, dance workshops and a children’s cookery school, adding to the standard attractions of the castle, grounds, playgrounds, and maze.
Online tickets at https://eastnorcastle.com are available at £14.00 for an adult and £8.00 for a child.
