A hoppy new range of beer brewed by community producers are set to hit a range of pubs in the area.

The Hop Shed will unveil its flagship beer, Hop Shed Pale, on Friday (April 19) at an open-to-the-public launch party at its Tap Room in Suckley.

With a commitment to produce from the area, the producer only uses community grown hops in its beers.

Sarah Saleh, the brewery's founder, said: "We believe that the amazing range of locally grown hops is more than sufficient to make a fantastic selection of beers with a great variety of flavours.

"There is simply no need to import hops from halfway around the world.

"The awards our beers have won are testament to this."

Its final recipe is the result of numerous test brews and one-off beers crafted over the past 18 months.

It seeks to find the best combination of unique local hop varieties, namely Harlequin, Olicana, and Godiva.

The resulting beer is an easy-drinking concoction featuring a tropical fruitiness.

The new beer will be available across Three Counties in May, in pubs including The Oak Inn, Staplow and The Prince of Wales.

Bottles can also be purchased from many independent retailers in the area and the brewery's online shop, with a special £3 off a case offer for May using the code NEWPALE at checkout.
