Steady Edd
Known as 'the piano man', Steady Edd returns to The Market Theatre at 7.30pm on Saturday (April 6) for a high-energy performance.
Expect a bit of "Boogie Woogie" and rock n' roll classics, and some old favourites from artists like Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Elvis Presley and many others.
Edd will be joined by his trusted sidekicks, The Rhythm Bones, with Phil South on bass and Chris Smith on drums.
Dancing shoes are optional.
Gould Piano Trio and Robert Plane
For classical music fans, the internationally renowned Gould Piano Trio has teamed up with clarinettist Robert Plane for a concert at Hellens that will include a wide range of compositions.
The programme comprises of Beethoven’s Clarinet Trio in B flat Op 11 'Gassenhauer', Walter Rabl's romantic Clarinet Quartet in E flat Op 1 that was beloved by Brahms, and the ever-popular Bohemian masterpiece Dvorak's 'Dumky' Piano Trio.

The Great Escaper
Lastly, don't miss 'The Great Escaper', the screening of the emotional and inspiring story of 89-year-old war veteran, Bernie Jordan.
He became a global sensation when he escaped his care home to join fellow war veterans in Normandy on the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in the summer of 2014.
The Market Theatre will host the screening on Wednesday (April 10) at 10.30am.
