AN 'EXCEPTIONAL' building plot in the grounds of a former country house estate has been put up for sale.
The plot sits off Grafton Lane, to the south of Hereford, is on the market with agents Hunters for offers in excess of £110,000.
The agents said the plot at The Gatehouse, Graftonbury Court, in Grafton Lane, is set within the grounds of a former small country house estate, with long frontage to the private driveway of the original estate.
The original main country house has been converted into five houses and apartments.

"Any house to be built on this rather unique shaped plot will be very well detached," the agents said, while the main elevations would offer views over part of the grounds and the countryside beyond, despite being just half a mile outside Hereford.
Outline planning consent was granted for a two-storey house to be built on the site in November 2018.
"The property depicted on the plan may be replaced by an alternative design and layout to choice, subject to a successful full planning application, where the council will also consider more contemporary designs subject to their suitability for the character of the area," the agents said.
Hunters said the vendors and associates are able to provide a full planning and construction service if required.
