Ledbury Community Day 2024 – do you want to take part?

Ledbury Community Day is a great opportunity for local groups to show what they do and encourage participation from locals and visitors – a celebration of Ledbury and District’s excellence.

This year Community Day celebrates its 10th running and opens Ledbury’s contribution to The Great Big Green Week on Saturday June 8.

In 2023 nearly 60 groups and organisations took part representing all ages and all parts of the community. There was a buzz around town, and a successful launch to Ledbury’s first Big Green Week.

Residents find that the event is a great way to find out what’s happening locally – whether looking for volunteering opportunities, leisure or recreational activities, social groups to join, wellness or community events to be a part of or just to find out more about Ledbury.

Groups attending find the event a great way of recruiting volunteers and supporters, increasing their presence locally, increasing memberships, dispensing information or just some good old Public Relations. It’s also a great place to network with other groups serving Ledbury.

The organisers have just sent out invitations to take part to voluntary and community groups serving the people of Ledbury and District.

As this is the start of Ledbury’s Great Big Green Week, the organisers see the event as a great way for local green and environmental groups to get their message across in our special green area.
