A HEREFORDSHIRE school site is closed this morning due to sewage contamination, with families and staff warned not to enter.
An environmental issue in Westfield Walk has led to sewage polluting the grounds and car park of Westfield School in Leominster, according to a notice sent out by the school through Herefordshire Council.
A spokesperson for Westfield School said the "environmental issue" in the street means that the younger classes of the school are closed today, January 25.

The affected classes are Squirrel, Hedgehog, Otter, and Robin, the spokesperson said, warning parents and staff not to enter the Westfield site, which they said is contaminated.
Upper school classes (Red Kite, Woodpecker, and sixth form) can still access their building, which is unaffected.
All staff are being asked to report to the school's Ryelands building in the morning.
Westfield School is a small maintained Special School for students with severe or complex learning difficulties.
Its students are within the age range of two to 19 years.
