THE first event of 2024 for Ledbury and District Civic Society will be on Friday, January 26.
There will be a talk by Dr Faith Tibble at 7.30pm at the Burgage Hall, Church Lane.
Dr Tibble will talk about the Crown of Thorns and how its imagery in the pre-Crucifixion Passion iconography is not all that it seems.
All talks are open to the public with members going in for free and visitors charged £5 per person.
The society aims to ensure Ledbury’s heritage is at the heart of its present and future.
