POP star Olly Alexander, who is a former Hereford student, will represent the UK at next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden.
The Years and Years frontman will hope to improve on the UK's disappointing result this year, when our entry came second to last.
He announced his participation in Eurovision at tonight's Strictly Come Dancing final tonight (December 16).
"I love Eurovision so much. It's a dream come true," he told host Claudia Winkleman. "I'm just so, so excited."
