Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it received a call reporting a fire at 3.42am today (December 4).
A spokesperson said: "A building was five per cent damaged by fire which was extinguished before the arrival of the fire service. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots with smoke detectors fitted to the partially built property. Police also attended due to the suspicious nature of the fire."
Gloucestershire Constabulary is now dealing with this incident.
