CHRISTMAS tree time is here and Temple Court Christmas Trees in Ledbury are gearing up for the big season.

We took time out to chat to the Blandford family to tell us all about the business:

Temple Court, Bosbury, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 1HA

What do you sell / service provide?

We sell freshly cut trees up to 10ft and pot grown trees up to 6ft.

What is the most popular thing you sell?

Cut trees- Nordmann fir and pot grown Serbian Spruce.

Where do your trees come from?

Every tree we sell is grown here on the farm.

How many trees do you expect to sell this year?

This is only our second year of selling from our retail business, we hope around 250. We also sell bulk quantities wholesale through our growing group Infinity Christmas Trees, this year 10,000 trees have gone to retailers all around the UK.

What makes a good Christmas tree?

Good care and careful pruning throughout the life of the tree. We had some wonderful feedback from our customers last year., with many saying it was the best tree they had ever had.

What is Ledbury / Newent like as an area to do business? This is a lovely area with lots of local primary schools, this year we are giving 10% of the sale of the tree to our local primary PTA's.

Anything else you would like to add? We are very proud that this year King Charles has one of our pot grown trees on display at his home in Highgrove House.
