Herefordshire's Saku exits the Great British Bake Off

The intelligence analyst who works for Herefordshire Council made it to the final six of the Channel 4 show, but left during Dessert Week.

The 50-year-old, who was born in Sri Lanka, was popular among viewers of the hit Channel 4 programme, with many believing she was the star of the show.

Following her elimination, the Great British Bake Off shared a letter that Saku wrote, describing her time in the tent.
