LEDBURY can be quite a spooky place if local legend is to be believed.
The town is packed full of places where people swear they have seen a ghost. Cabbage Lane, the narrow and historic footpath that links Worcester Road with the churchyard of St Michael and All Angels, is a likely place to encounter such a spirit, if local accounts are to be believed.
Some visitors to The Talbot Hotel in New Street have noted strange happenings, and history even provides a reason for the spectre.
A serving girl was shot accidentally in the Panelled Room, during a Civil War skirmish between Cavaliers and Roundheads.
This particular clash may or may not have been during the Battle of Ledbury itself. Ledbury Ghost Walk takes place on Tuesday October 31 at 7.00P.M. Adults £9.00 Children (10 to 15 years) £4.50 - younger children at parents discretion but must be paid for.
The walk is not recommended for very young children.

Prepare to be scared and expect the unexpected.
