THE price of a landmark Herefordshire pub and hotel with eight miles of fishing rights has been dropped by £45,000.
The Red Lion Hotel, nestled on the banks of the river Wye in Bredwardine, is up for sale for the first time in four decades and is listed with commercial agents Sidney Phillips for £650,000, a £45,000 reduction from the previous asking price of £695,000.
The grade II listed 17th century hotel has been in the same family for the last 40 years, the agents said.

Complete with a wealth of character features including oak beams and log fires, the building has bar, lounge, and restaurant areas.
It also has ten en-suite letting rooms and a separate two-bed owner's cottage.
Outside is a pretty beer garden set in the 0.34 acre grounds.
