A fundraising Santa Dash is taking place in Ledbury in the run-up to Christmas.

The fun run is being organised by Ledbury Town Council and Ledbury Rugby Club, with the proceeds being split between the mayor’s charities and the rugby club.

The event takes place on Sunday, November 26 at 12pm.

Entry for adults is £7.50 and includes a Santa suit and medal. Children can enter for £1 and they’ll also get a medal for taking part.

There will be prizes for the children running in the best fancy dress outfits.

Ledbury Town Council is also appealing for help ahead of its lights switch-on event, which takes place in the High Street on the same day.

It wants volunteers to help set up and pack away on the day, as well as for marshalling and helping out with Santa's Grotto.
