TALENTED artist Judy Young is exhibiting at Court Farm Barn in Ledbury on Saturday September 23.
A selection of Judy's art will be available to buy at the exhibition.
The exhibition starts at 10am and runs until 3pm.
Judy's inspiration - her late granddaughter, India: The two portraits pictured are of India, Judy's eldest grandchild, who tragically died in St Michael's Hospice of a brain tumour.
It was the birth of India, nineteen years before, that had originally inspired Judy to start painting.
Judy is entirely self-taught. Judy said: "25 years ago, my first grandchild was born and I decided to start painting. I'd been too busy working and raising a family for any hobbies of my own, but I always knew that I wanted to paint.
"My daughter hung the portraits I did of her children, and soon lots of her friends were asking me to paint their children too.
"Soon my photos of my portraits were seen by other people, some of them as far away as New Zealand, the United States and South Africa, and business boomed." Judy's reputation has grown exponentially in the last few years, with her work now selling internationally.
She works in a range of media and takes commissions on a regular basis.
In addition to her stunning portraits, Judy's repertoire includes exquisite Herefordshire landscapes including locations such as the Malvern Hills, Queenswood and Ledbury, and animal and figure paintings.
