CARVERIES are to return to a popular Herefordshire pub this Sunday (September 17).

The Full Pitcher in Ledbury has been taken over by Andy Hoyle and Jacqui Burns, who before the Covid pandemic, ran the Royal Oak in Much Birch.

For the past few years, the couple had been in charge of the Robin Hood in Monmouth, and are looking to bring the same mix of good food and live music to the Full Pitcher.

The landmark pub, situated off the Leadon Way and Ross Road roundabout, was closed for a number of months with its company, Stonegate looking for someone to take it on.

It has already started serving Sunday roasts, and from this weekend, customers will be able to have a carvery that the pub was previously renowned for.

For its roasts, you can choose between beef, honey roast gammon and pork, or a combination of two or three meats. That is served with roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy.

Children's, vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
