Set just off the A49 north of Ross-on-Wye, Pengethley Manor, which has a wealth of period features, was converted into a hotel in 1948.
The property passed through several hands in more recent years, with Brooks Hotels buying it in 2016.
From 2020 it was let out as an international training facility for healthcare professionals, but has more recently been offering short-term holiday stays, with permission granted in 2022 for holiday lets to be created in two outbuildings.
The agents said the historic manor has "enjoyed much commercial success in recent years, operating as a variety of profitable businesses, including a highly regarded hotel and restaurant, wedding venue and conference centre."
Pengethley Manor has been operated under commercial use, but has recently been granted permission for change of use to residential.
