SCHOOLS in Herefordshire will be hit again today as another round of teacher strikes by the National Education Union takes place.
The new round of strikes comes as a pay agreement failed to be met after strikes in February and March.
On April 3, the teacher’s union rejected the government’s latest pay offer, and tens of thousands of teachers are expected to strike today (April 27) and Tuesday (May 2).
The NEU is planning a total of five days of teacher walkouts during the summer term – with three of the dates yet to be announced.
Here are the Herefordshire schools confirmed by Herefordshire Council to be closing or partially closing today.
We will be keeping this list updated as more closures are announced this morning (April 27).
