A popular festival will be bringing the heat when it returns to Ledbury later this month.

Eastnor Chilli Fest is taking place at Eastnor Castle Deer Park on Sunday, April 30 and Monday, May 1.

You’ll have to be quick if you want to sample the festival’s delights - Eastnor Castle’s website warns that only limited pre-booked online tickets remain.

The festival features live music from Los Squideros, The Breaks and Baixa Beats, and - not for the faint-hearted - a chilli-eating competition run by the Clifton Chilli Club.

For youngsters with a taste for spicy food, there are children’s cookery school workshops taking place throughout the day.

Places for this are limited and organisers Harts Barn Cookery School suggest booking on the day. Children will be making chilli-masu, decorated cupcakes and chilli wraps.

Entertainment will be provided by stilt walkers and fire shows, while bhangra dance workshops will get the whole family moving.
