An evening of railway nostalgia is taking place at Colwall Village Hall on Easter Saturday (April 8).
The theme for the evening is ‘Steam through the Malverns’.
Film archivist and historian Michael Clemens, from Pershore, will be presenting a series of his father Jim’s films from the 50s and 60s including steam footage on the Cotswolds and Malverns Line between Hereford and Oxford, as well as long lost local branch lines and railways further afield.
The evening’s entertainment is being organised by the Cotswold Line Promotion Group and starts at 7pm. Tickets are available on the door at just £5.
There are convenient return trains to Colwall from both Hereford and Worcester directions and the hall is just a few minutes walk from Colwall’s rail station.
