THOUSANDS of patients across Herefordshire are waiting 28 days or more for a GP appointment, new data from the NHS has revealed.
But the data has also revealed the surgeries where patients are most likely to get an appointment on the same or next day.
The data from NHS Digital reveals just how long patients at each of the county's GP surgeries are waiting, with appointment waits broken down into same day, one day, two to seven days, eight to 14 days, 15 to 21 days, 22 to 28 days, and more than 28 days.

Across Herefordshire during January, 4,459 of 108,997 patients waited more than 28 days between booking an appointment and seeing their GP, although it is important to note that there are several factors that drive the time from a booking to an appointment.
These include GP availability, patient availability, the urgency of the appointment, and GP advice.
The data does not explain the reason behind each wait.
