A pet crematorium near Ledbury has been announced as a Midlands regional finalist in the annual Countryside Alliance awards, known as the rural Oscars.
Marley Hall Pet Crematorium, founded by Harry and Angharad Whittal, aims to provide a very special service for cherished and adored pets.
"We have always had pets of various shapes and sizes and know first-hand the joy they bring to our lives," they say.

"We offer a very discrete and private cremation. Your pet is treated as an individual and looked after with the utmost care and respect.
The Countryside Alliance Awards celebrate rural businesses that go the extra mile, support their local economy and are the unsung heroes in every community.

Marley Hall Pet Crematorium is a regional finalist in the Rural Enterprise category of the awards.

Other Herefordshire businesses which have made the regional finals include Hopes of Longtown and Yarpole Community Shop in the Village shop category; Legges Copper Kettle (Local food/drink) and Hanks' Meat and Game (Butcher).
The Champions' reception will be held on Wednesday, May 17 at The House of Lords.
